Symposium 2022 (Online)
The Symposium "Resilience in the grape and wine industry" took place online on Monday 30th May and Tuesday 31st May 2022. The General Assembly and Work Group Meetings were also organized online on Wednesday 1st of June
Every year, the Network gathers around two main events: The OENOVITI International Symposium and the General Assembly.
The Symposium focuses on a different thematic every year.
This event is open to all OENOVITI Partners and members of the general public interested in the thematic. It is a chance for speakers to present their research on the theme, and for academics and members of the private sector to come together to discuss related topics and issues.
The annual Symposium is usually followed by the OENOVITI Network General Assembly, where the different work groups gather to discuss their activities, and the general administration of the network and projects are addressed.
Following the COVID-19 pandemic, the Network has also decided to increase its online presence with the launch of a new format of events in 2021: the Mini-Symposia and Sprint Meetings.

The start of 2022 brings a new series of online events from the OENOVITI International Network: The Mini Symposium and Sprint Meeting 3!
OENOVITI International continues to offer new formats of interactions and exchange of expertise with the second edition of its Mini Symposium and Sprint Meeting.
This year, travelling is still compromised for many of our OENOVITI International members. Our 2020 Symposium planned in Odessa, Ukraine, was postponed to May 2021 with the hope to be able to meet physically at this time.
This year again, we had to make the decision to organize the OENOVITI International Symposium and General Assembly online.
While facing the restrictions due to the pandemic, the Network started feeling the urge to develop new ways to stay connected in spite of the isolation. That is how a new format of online conferences emerged: the Mini Symposia and the Sprint Meetings.
