The event was supported by the OIV (Organisation Internationale de la Vigne et du Vin), and by network members who came from Argentina, Italy, USA, France, Spain, Japan, Chile, Australia to present the results of their research on the different thematics.

The Symposium was followed by the 11th General Assembly of the network (26th April) and by a day of field visits to local wineries, Clos de los Siete and Zuccardi Family in the Uco Valley.

The General Assembly was an opportunity for the 7 work groups of the network to come together and discuss new opportunites for collaboration and funding applications.
